Next Generation Leadership: A Conversation That Truly Matters

I had the privilege of delivering a Next Generation Leadership talk to the leadership and faculty members at the Malaysian University of Science and Technology. It turned into a powerful session with respected and tenured leaders showing up ready to listen, learn and ask thoughtful, impactful questions. When senior leaders demonstrate that level of curiosity and humility, the ripple effect on future generations is significant.

We explored what it takes to lead in today’s fast-changing world:

⭐ Courage to self-reflect honestly and evolve how we show up to our teams
⭐ Curiosity about technology, AI and new ways of working
⭐ Generational intelligence to understand what drives today’s workforce
⭐ Inclusive practices so people feel seen, valued and safe
⭐ Connection through meaningful team rituals, fast feedback loops and stay interviews that build trust

These are no longer optional. They are essentials for leaders shaping the minds and mindsets of future talent.

I’m grateful for the engagement, the energy and the commitment to grow. Thank you, MUST, for the opportunity and the warm hospitality. Here’s to leaders who have the courage to learn, the curiosity to explore and the connection to lead with heart.

We ended the session with a reminder for everyone in the room that ‘The next generation is not waiting for You to catch up! – Be Courageous, Be Curious and Be Connected!’ 💡

🙏🏽 Appreciation to Intan Kartini, Prof. Dr. Premkumar Rajagopal and Rudy Malik for the opportunity to share at MUST.
